Description

Inhale the black opium of the Verity Cord Mini Dress.

Cut from a luxe cotton corduroy in the darkest shade of black; this sickly sweet mini is fully lined and features a nineties style square neckline with custom designed chunky O-ring zipper fastening to the back.

Finished with a brooding touch of contrasting white embroidery to the front and two side splits to the hem - wear her alone or layered over your favourite roll neck for an all-year round look that will lead you into the Infinity of Darkness.

DESIGNED AND MADE IN LONDON

Designed by Mary Wyatt in our North London studio. This top is then cut, sewn and embroidered in London, in a factory with over 30 years of experience creating high-quality garments for premium brands. We never mass produce - shop consciously.

The shipping was incredibly quick, seeing as I'm in Canada.

The dress is exactly as pictured & expected. I love it SO much! I was worried it was going to be too small for me, but it ended up being a tad boxy (size 6) & bigger than expected around the waist, but it's nothing a corset or bustier belt can't fix! I'm glad I snagged my size before it sold out.

The value is in the quality! Love it!

This is a beautiful dress. The quality is excellent, it's lined and the material feels luxurious. Although this style dress is normally worn with a top underneath I wanted to wear it on its own and so I bought my regular size and it fits like a bodycon dress with a square neck. It's comfortable and doesn't ride up when walking, I love how it looks when I wear it, it makes me feel confident.
I love the embroidered logo on the chest, it gives it a heavy metal vibe despite the dress being so flattering and feminine (which is really exciting for me in a dress since garments with cool logos are normally only limited to t-shirts)!

As a seamstress myself, this dress is exceptionally well made and fits perfectly! It is comfortable and easy to move in. Thanks MW for a lovely piece!
