Good service. 

Out of service. Many international customers may now select International Standard Tracked via DHL GlobalMail at the check out. We will not be reinstating this shipping service. Economy international shipping is now available from GlobalMail and we will soon introduce economy rates from DPD.

Due to Royal mail suspending all international shipping without notice in early January, some orders have been automatically sent by DPD or DHL (at no cost to the customer).

Royal Mail Issues

Royal Mail has been our main service provider for shipping since we launched the brand in 2016.

Mary Wyatt has been severely impacted by industrial strike action at Royal Mail. Some 115,000 postal workers in delivery, processing, distribution and all other functions within Royal Mail chose to strike during Black Friday and the festive period, disrupting countless businesses who rely on Royal Mail to deliver their customer orders.

Having failed to manage this issue, Royal Mail now have countless parcels still unprocessed in their possession and are offering little to no information, communication or support to small businesses like ours.

Parcels are slowly working their way through the system, but the tracking has been made redundant as in many cases they are not scanning parcels.

We are unable to resend or refund orders until a certain time period has passed as set by Royal Mail. This is out of our control.

We have been in touch with all affected customers, and will be offering compensation for these unprecedented delays. Mary Wyatt sincerely appreciate your understanding and patience while parcels continue to move through the system, and we submit claims, offer refunds and reship orders where possible.

Only orders despatched during the strikes continue to be affected. New domestic orders sent by Royal Mail are unaffected. 


Royal Mail (the UK national mail service provider) are refusing to ship any international parcels, and have not indicated when this will change. This is another severe blow for small indie businesses operating out of the UK and we are working as fast as we can to make more shipping options available for our valued international customers, who make up over 50% of our business. 

We are able despatch international orders with good service, using alternative couriers to Royal Mail. Alongside DHL Express, we have just made DHL GlobalMail available, which is very similar to Royal Mail in price & service. Please select at the check out.



Due the to the negative impact this break down of services has had on our customers and business, and to ensure we are never in this situation again, Mary Wyatt have decided to move all shipping completely away from Royal Mail in 2023. 

We are working very hard behind the scenes to secure the best shipping rates possible with other service providers. We hope to make these options available in the coming days and weeks.

We can confirm that DPD will soon be available at check out for both domestic and international orders, alongside DHL Express. We are also working on more international options and will update this page accordingly

Mary Wyatt will also be holding & shipping stock domestically in the USA from Summer 2023.
