Welcome the Alice Velvet Dress - made from a jet-black velvet complimented by long, lace sleeves with subtle volume at the shoulder; this velvet dress also features a nostalgic neckline that nods to your favourite 90's vampirettes.

With a stretchy, shirred panel at the back for the ultimate comfort and fit; the Alice Velvet Dress fastens with a hidden back zip and falls perfectly just above the knee.

DESIGNED IN LONDON, MADE ETHICALLY IN TURKEY

Designed by Mary Wyatt in our North London studio; this dress is then manufactured ethically in Turkey in a female-run factory that works closely with local charities.

We never mass produce - shop consciously.

FABRIC & CARE

- Body: 95% Polyester 5% Elastane
- Sleeves: 95% Nylon 5% Elastane
- Gentle wash at 30º, with similar fabrics
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron low on reverse avoiding lace
- Please note: Lace fabric is delicate, please take care when wearing with jewellery and around sharp objects
- Made in Turkey

Perfect LBD!!

I am usually a size 14 in Mary Wyatt but I sized down to a 12 for this one. The fit is amazing and it looks adorable with the Obituary belt! A little warm for summer but it's perfect for spring or fall. I do not have the shoulders falling down issue that others have described, but I suspect that's because I sized down. The sleeves are stretchy, which I really love l, as I have had some dresses where the lace sleeves are impossible to get into.

This dress is heavenly, the quality is top tier! I’ve had the dress for nearly a year now and have worn it several times both dressed up and down has held up and washes well (I do hand wash this item to preserve longevity)

my favorite LBD

i love how simple yet elegant this dress is, while still being unequivocally gothic. my only complain is that the puffed sleeves tend to slip down, and i only wish there had been rubber grips added to them. i just add temporary double-sided fabric tape when i wear it.
