I love these shorts!

I bought these for a summer holiday where I’d be very active and they were an absolute god send. They’re comfy and super flattering. They don’t ride up on the thigh or create any bunching around the crotch. I wore them hiking and also in the gym recently. The print is high quality and doesn’t stretch. Also most importantly, they aren’t see through!

Great shorts

Great length, lovely fabric and barbed wire side design. Perfect summer shorts with oversized tee or cropped tee

good pair of shorts but a tad pricy

These are thicker than other cycling shorts I have purchased so that does add to the cost.
Fit really well, they don't slide or roll down after being in a pit which is always good. Wore these to a trivium gig and they held up think these will be my go to for gigs from now on.

Hey Angelina,

Thanks for taking the time to review our Asylum High Waist Cycle Shorts - we're so glad you love them!

We're sorry that you think they're pricey, so wanted to give a little more clarity on our pricing.

We price these shorts based on the fair, living wage our factory workers and staff are paid, and the quality of manufacture as well as current manufacturing costs (which have unfortunately risen due to the current global issues).

It's also worth mentioning that our Asylum Shorts are made from a premium cotton jersey, which is knitted for us in the UK. They are also manufactured in North London and feature hand pulled screen prints.

We hope this helps you to understand the cost of the shorts a little better - we're always open to having these conversations so please do get in touch if you'd like to know anything else.

Best wishes,

Mary Wyatt xo

Nice fit

These fit nicely, they're a little longer than my usual cycling shorts but fit really well. I love the barbed wire graphic. I do think they're a little overpriced for what they are considering you can get the same cycling shorts just without the name and the graphic for about £7. But they are nice!

We'd take a guess that the £7 shorts you're referring to are probably made overseas in a fast fashion factory, where garments are mass-produced :(

We hope this helps you to understand the price of our clothing a little better - we're always open to having these conversations so please do get in touch if you'd like to know anything else.
